Lazy baked khachapuri with two types of cheese: how to prepare a mouthwatering pastry
Khachapuri is a great option for delicious homemade pastries. You can easily make this dish at home. The main thing is to make the elastic dough correctly so that it turns out to be fluffy and goes well with the cheese filling.
The idea of making khachapuri with cheese was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Oksana Surhai. The dough is based on milk.
Ingredients:
- water - 100 ml
- milk - 100 ml
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 20 g (1 tbsp)
- yeast - 5 g (1 tsp)
- eggs - 1 pc
- flour - 320 g
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp
Ingredients for the filling:
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- sulguni - 350 g
- greens (dill, parsley) - 1 bunch
- salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough, knead well and leave for an hour to rise.
2. Grate the cheese.
3. Leave one half and add cottage cheese to the other half.
4. Mix with greens and add salt.
5. Divide the dough into two parts and roll each into a circle.
6. Spread half of the cottage cheese filling on the dough, gather the edges to the center, and pinch.
7. Put on a baking sheet, brush with egg, and sprinkle with cheese on top.
8. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
