Juicy and healthy baked fish cutlets with cheese and rice: even children will like it

Homemade cutlets can be made not only from meat but also from fish and liver. For fish cutlets, it is best to use hake.

The nutritionist shared a recipe on Instagram for very healthy and tasty baked fish cakes with rice, hard cheese, and celery.

Ingredients:

  • 225 g of rice (take 50:50 white and brown)⠀
  • 550 g of minced fish (3 hake carcasses)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 80 g of hard cheese
  • 1 large carrot (180 g)
  • 1 large onion
  • garlic (2-4 cloves)⠀
  • 50 g of celery root (take 100 g, it adds spice)⠀
  • favorite spices and dried herbs
  • 4 tbsp. of vegetable oil

Method of preparation:

1. Stuffing: rinse and boil the rice. Peel or finely chop the fish or pass it through a meat grinder or in a blender. Then mix the fish, rice, and other ingredients, add spices, and mix again. Beat off the minced meat and leave it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

2. Preheat the oven to 200 C. Cover a baking dish with parchment, grease with oil, and form cutlets, roll in flour or breadcrumbs.

Cook for 40 minutes at 150-160 C.
