Jamie Oliver shares how to prepare homemade pasta in less than an hour

If you've never prepared homemade pasta, you can quickly make it according to the recipe of the famous English chef and restaurateur Jamie Oliver. And although this method seems complicated to some, in fact, you only need 2 ingredients and little time.

OBOZ. UA explains how to prepare homemade pasta for 6 people in less than an hour using Jamie Oliver's method below.

Ingredients

  • 600 g of flour
  • 6 eggs

Method of preparation

Pour flour on a board or bowl, make a well in the center and crack the eggs into it. Then beat the eggs with a fork until smooth. Using your fingertips, mix everything, adding a little more flour from time to time until everything is combined.

Knead the dough until it is one large, sticky ball. To get rid of the gluten, knead the dough a little with your hands by pressing it down on the table, reshaping it, stretching it, and pressing it again.

When the dough is smooth and soft, wrap it and chill it for 30 minutes. Then roll it out. Ideally, you should be using a pasta machine, but it can also be done by hand as well.

Tip: to make the pasta thin, roll out small pieces of dough rather than large ones.
