Amidst the incredible popularity and high box office of the animated series "Inside Out 2," Pixar decided to catch the wave of success and release a spinoff earlier than planned. The sequel will have as many as 4 episodes, and all of them will be released on the same day.

It has become known that Dream Productions will be released on Disney+ on December 11, 2024. The details were revealed by Variety.

The new animated series will tell the story of a studio that produces dreams in Riley's head.

As Riley grows up, her memories need more processing, so Joy and other major emotions send them to the Dream Studio. In return, the smug director of daydreams strives to get into the big leagues of night dreams.

Spinoff was announced in August after the wild success of "Inside Out 2" and was originally projected to be released in 2025.

"We're excited that fans won't have to wait long to get even more great content from the world of Inside Out. The animated series delves into one of the favorite parts of the first movie – Riley's dreams coming true," commented Pete Docter, Pixar's Chief Creative Officer.

Another Pixar animated series, "Win or Lose," will be released on February 19, 2025. It will be the studio's first full-fledged original animated series with eight episodes. The cartoon will tell what eight different characters really feel during the week before the big game. The characters include insecure children, their parents, and even a judge in love.

Each episode will have a unique visual style.

According to Pete Docter, these two animated series will demonstrate the best creative potential of Pixar.
