How to take care of a used car to sell it for a high price: tips from an expert
Drivers who want to get the best price when selling their car are advised to follow two tips for the entire time they own the vehicle.
Car expert Adam Morris posted a video on the ReDriven YouTube channel in which he gave tips on maintenance and modifications that will really increase the value of a car when it's sold in the future.
Although many motorists like to personalize their cars with a variety of accessories, Morris warned that most buyers will not appreciate your efforts.
The automotive expert urged to avoid particularly flashy exterior accessories, such as large spoilers, body kits, and large wheels.
Nevertheless, Morris suggested that those who want to give their car an unusual look can still install exquisite accessories and parts made by the manufacturer without much reduction in the value of the car.
He also recommended that drivers strictly adhere to the service intervals recommended by the manufacturer to increase the value and demand for the car.
"As a rule of thumb, if your car has been serviced according to the intervals specified in the logbook, you have a better chance of tempting buyers. If you start skipping maintenance either because of laziness or unwillingness to spend money, remember that you will lose this money later on during resale. Now the tag "incomplete service history" will forever follow this car," he said.
