How to serve julienne on the New Year's table in an unusual way: if guests are already on the doorstep
Julienne is not a warm, portioned appetizer of mushrooms and chicken, as millions of people are used to thinking. It's just a way of cutting food into thin strips. Nevertheless, when we think of this word, we still imagine a delicious baked dish.
On Instagram, a food blogger with the nickname mariiam_foodblog presented a new way to serve julienne on the New Year's table. The result is a beautiful appetizer that takes very little time to prepare.
Ingredients
- Toasted bread
- Cream cheese – 175 g
- Mushrooms
- Onion
- Chicken fillet
- Suguluni or mozzarella
- Herbs
- Salt
- Pepper
How to cook
1. Dice the mushrooms and onions and fry in a pan until tender.
2. Boil the chicken and dice it as well.
3. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and add the grated cheese.
4. Add the herbs, cream cheese, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.
5. Put the toasted bread on a baking sheet and top with the filling.
6 Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and serve hot.
