How to preserve beets in a jar: a recipe for a universal product for any occasion
To avoid the hassle of boiling and peeling beets every time, you can preserve them. The preparation is perfectly stored, you just need to take out the vegetable and use it to prepare a variety of dishes.
The idea of making delicious pickled beets was published on the Instagram page of foodie Nataliia Lenyk (curcuma at home). Cloves and bay leaves will add spice.
Ingredients for the marinade:
- water – 1 liter.
- sugar – 1 cup
- salt – 1 tbsp
- vinegar – 150 g
- bay leaves – 3 pcs.
- cloves – 2-3 pcs. for each jar.
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the beets.
2. Peel off the skin.
3. Cut the vegetables into rings.
4. Put into the jars.
5. Pour the hot marinade over the meat.
5. Sterilize the jars for 15 minutes.
