Rats and mice have a fantastic ability to get into homes due to their extreme flexibility. These pests can get in through unsealed gaps around pipes and wires, cracks in the foundation, or even forgotten holes in the walls.

According to experienced owners, in this case, it is worth using odor-based repellents to drive out the rodent intruder using the keen sense of smell of rats, OBOZ.UA writes.

The best deterrent is eucalyptus oil, which should be dissolved in water and sprayed wherever you have seen these rats before. These pests simply hate the smell of this product.

After spraying the appropriate spray, at least 20 minutes should pass. After that, rats will not return to your home.

If you don't want to bother with the spray, scatter cotton balls covered with eucalyptus oil around the house.

The same trick works just as well outdoors. This is a great alternative to various magical chemicals, as it is safe enough for other animals and will not cause the harm that poison can.
