How to cook waffles to make them extra crispy
When you want something delicious with an incredible flavor in the morning, you should choose waffles. In combination with your favorite add-ons, they create a great mood and coziness in your home.
Chef Olha Martynovska knows exactly how to make waffles to please the whole family. On Instagram, she shared her secret to making waffles that are really crispy.
Ingredients
- flour - 500 g
- butter - 100 g
- skim milk - 350 ml
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- brown sugar - 40 g
- eggs - 3 pcs
- active dry yeast - 10 g
- vanilla
- rum - 4 tbsp
Method of preparation
1. Beat eggs, cream, milk and melted but not hot butter with a fork.
2. Add yeast, sugar, vanilla to flour, mix and add the egg mixture.
3. Knead the dough for 15-20 minutes until smooth.
4. Leave the covered dough in a warm place for 40-60 minutes to rise. Before baking, you can add rum and stir it in to taste.
5. Fry in a waffle iron for 3-4 minutes until golden.
