How to cook popular udon noodles: recipe with chicken and vegetables
Udon is a Japanese noodle that is now being cooked all over the world. The taste of this product is perfectly complemented by a variety of sauces. You can also add meat and lots of vegetables.
The idea of cooking udon with chicken and vegetables was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Natalia with the nickname nata.cooking. Experiment with spices and add sesame seeds.
Ingredients:
- udon noodles - 2 servings
- chicken fillet - 250-300 g
- carrot - 1 pc.
- pepper - 1 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- soy sauce - 50 g
- teriyaki sauce - 50-100 ml.
- salt/pepper - to taste
- sesame seeds/green onions for sprinkling
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the chicken into thin strips.
2. Heat a frying pan, add oil, and fry the chicken until crispy for 5-7 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, chop the vegetables, carrots, and peppers into strips, onions into half rings, and garlic into slices.
4. Add onion and garlic to the chicken first and fry until soft.
5. Then add the rest of the vegetables and fry for another 3-5 minutes.
6. Boil the udon noodles according to the instructions on the package, then rinse them under cold water (to prevent them from sticking together).
7. Add soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, salt, pepper, boiled udon to the frying pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. At the end, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
