How many correct answers are there? This simple clock puzzle confused the web
Social network users were confused by a simple riddle in which they had to determine how many times a day the numbers appear on a clock in ascending order. The task seems to be easy, but most commenters did not agree on the answer.
The riddle was posted by one of the Daily Quiz and Riddles accounts. All commenters were given enough time to solve it, but only one of them got the right answer.
"You see a digital clock that shows the time in 24-hour format (from 00:00 to 23:59). How many times in a day do all the numbers on the clock appear in ascending order?" the task says.
The question in the picture uses the example of 01:23. One of the last users on X, who answered the question, wrote that if you follow the numbers given, the correct answer is three, namely "01:23," "12:34," and "23:45." He was the one who got the answer from the account that asked the question.
Many users also provided this answer. However, some said that the correct answer was once, noting that it was only the "12:34" indicator.
And one commenter counted 87 times, outlining his own formulas for calculating such a figure.
