Everyone liked sausages since childhood. But now, to taste really delicious sausage, it's easier to make it yourself.

This is the opinion of a food blogger with the nickname lia obri. On Instagram, she explained how to make this dish yourself so that the whole family can enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • whole chicken
  • carrot - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • garlic
  • bay leaf
  • peppercorns
  • beetroot - 1 pc
  • gelatin - 30 grams

Method of preparation

1. Put the chicken in a large saucepan.

2. Add the carrots and onions cut into large pieces.

3. Pour in half the water and boil over low heat until tender. Do not drain the broth.

4. Boil the beets in a separate saucepan.

5. Prepare a mold for the future sausage. An ordinary plastic bottle with the top cut off will do just fine.

6. Grate the beets on a fine grater.

7. Leave the chicken broth to cool.

8. Separate the meat and add the boiled carrots and onions. Add 20 ml of the broth and beet juice and beat in a blender until smooth.

9. Dissolve 30 g of gelatin in 100 ml of warm broth and knead until smooth.

10. Pour the mixture into the mold, wrap it in plastic film, and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

11. The shelf life is 3-4 days at a temperature of up to 4°.
