Healthy and tasty spinach roll with herring: a budget appetizer recipe
Herring is a great product for making delicious salads and snacks. You can also marinate it yourself with spices and onions.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious, easy-to-prepare spinach appetizer roll with herring and cheese.
Ingredients:
- 150 g of spinach
- 3 eggs
- a pinch of salt
- 175 g of cream cheese
- 160 g of herring
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the spinach with a blender (you can also use frozen spinach), add the egg yolks, salt, and mix.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks and gently add to the spinach.
3. Put the dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment (choose high-quality parchment so that the sponge cake does not stick to it) and use a spatula to smooth it into a thin layer. Put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-13 minutes.
4. Take the pancake out of the oven, cover it with a towel, turn it over and carefully remove the parchment. Grease the pancake with cream cheese and put the fish on it, wrap it in a roll, then put it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Cut and serve!
