Healthy Amosov's paste: what to cook with
Mykola Amosov, the most famous Ukrainian cardiac surgeon and academician, invented an excellent vitamin mixture that everyone should eat because it is based on nuts and dried fruits. The main property of the paste is that it strengthens the cardiovascular system and boosts immunity. It is worth noting that Amosov prescribed it to his patients and it contributed to their faster recovery in the postoperative period.
The cook shared a recipe for Amosov's delicious dried fruit paste with nuts and citrus on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Dark raisins – 200 g
- Dried prunes – 200 g
- Dried apricots – 200 g
- Figs or dates – 100 g
- Dried cranberries – 100 g
- Walnuts (or any) – 200 g
- Lemon with peel – 1 medium
- Orange with peel – 1/2 pc
- Honey – 2 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender, but it is better to pass through a meat grinder.
2. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
3. Adults: 1 tbsp three times a day 30 minutes before meals (if you have a sensitive intestine, it is recommended to take it after meals). School-age children can take 1 tsp.
