According to ESET, a cybersecurity company, fintech solutions that allow you to get a loan, transfer money, or receive some banking services simply by using your smartphone are growing in popularity. These programs are mostly targeted at vulnerable people in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America, where the economic situation is very difficult and people often need extra money. They are the easiest to fall prey to fraudsters.

App stores fight against these apps and remove them. However, new ones quickly replace the deleted ones, so smartphone owners are asked to be especially vigilant with this type of application.
