For both everyday and festive table: how to quickly prepare delicious liver pate
Liver pate is a very simple and versatile appetizer. The dish can be served with croutons or tartlets. If it's an everyday option, and even plain bread will do. If you have such a dish in the fridge, you can always have a delicious sandwich.
The idea of making delicious homemade pate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria (korolivska1). All the ingredients are baked, which makes the dish very healthy.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver - 300 g
- carrots - 100 g
- onion - 100 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- 10% cream - 125 g
- butter - 50 g
- apple - 1 pc
- salt - to taste
- pepper - to taste
- smoked paprika - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the chicken liver thoroughly and peel it.
2. Dice the carrots, onions and garlic.
3. Season with salt, pepper and smoked paprika.
4. Add cream and butter.
5. Cover with foil and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes until the carrots are tender.
6. Cut the apple cubes and heat it in the microwave until it is soft.
7. When all the ingredients are ready, beat them in a blender until smooth. If the consistency of the pate seems too thick, add more cream. Salt more if necessary.
8. Don't forget to let the pate sit in the fridge overnight to make it more tender.
