Ukrainians are outraged by the state of occupied Kyrylivka

Ukrainians are outraged by the state of the resort town of Kyrylivka in Zaporizhzhia region, which was occupied by Russians at the beginning of the full-scale war. At the height of the beach season, there are almost no people along the Azov Sea coast, but residents are not upset and say that everything has returned to the scale it was before the occupation.

A video from Kyrylivka was posted on TikTok by Roman Kolesnyk from Melitopol, who is more than satisfied with life under occupation. The footage shows that Russian flags hang around the city, advertising banners are also in the language of the occupiers, but many people, such as the author of the video, are satisfied with this.

First, he drives past the Treasure Island water park, where not many cars are parked. The Russians dared to open this recreation area almost at the end of the beach season. The video also shows the tricolor, which does not bother the author of the video at all.

"Look, a water park has opened. Look, there are so many cars! People are standing on the slides... To be honest, I thought there would be few people, I could go without crowding, but no. It's strange, of course, but there are people. The camera doesn't show that much," the man said.

Interestingly, the excuse for the really small number of people was the phrase "The camera doesn't show that much." The author of the video tried to insert it wherever it could sow doubt about the return of any life to the village.

Roman Kolesnyk also showed the state of Fedotova Spit, the first line from the sea, which used to be full of life. According to the author, there are much fewer people in the center of the village, so we can conclude that the maximum number of people is on this street. Russian music can be heard from the TEXAS nightclub, which is popular in the village, but there are not many people there on Saturday evenings.

"Well, of course, there are not very many people, but there is some life, I'll say that. The camera doesn't show it. They are even grilling shish kebabs. Here is TEXAS. This is the pool now - you can see the fun. Everything is fine. Life goes on. But it was impossible to drive here before," Kolesnyk commented.

Ukrainians are upset by the state of the occupied Ukrainian Kyrylivka. Some say that the village has been looted, while others hint at the problems brought by the "Russian world."

  • "August. Congratulations on the opening!"
  • "The first line on Fedotka is looted."
  • "It's sad to see."
  • "It's sad that we have to pull weeds without the auto business."
  • "There's a lot of traffic on the hills, you can't even walk."
  • "Yes, the camera doesn't show. They looted the first line."
  • "It's a blood holiday."
  • "Like before? Are you kidding?"
  • "Life there is frozen, and not like before. It used to be impossible to walk there, and now it's in decline under Russian occupation."
  • "Show me at least one village where it has become better since the Russian invasion. Everywhere is a complete mess."

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Russians complain about a terrible vacation in the occupied Crimea. Garbage, explosions, high prices and muddy sea water - all this awaits those who decide to bask in the sun on the shores of the Azov and Black Seas.
