Ingredients for the sponge cake
- eggs - 4 pcs
- sugar - 65 g
- milk - 40 ml
- oil - 25 ml
- flour - 60 g
- cocoa - 25 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp
Ingredients for the gelatin layer
- sour cream - 400 g
- 30% cream - 300 ml
- sugar - 100 g
- gelatin - 12 grams
- water - 70 ml
- colored jelly - 3 packages
The way of preparation
1. First, prepare the sponge cake. Beat eggs with sugar until light and stiff (about 12 minutes). Then add room temperature milk.
2. Sift half of flour together with cocoa and baking powder.
3. Gently stir in the dry ingredients from top to bottom.
4. Add oil and add sift the other half of flour. Mix to combine the ingredients.
5. Pour the resulting mass into the mold without greasing the sides.
6. Bake at 175 degrees for 20 minutes.
7. Wrap the cold cake in cling film and leave it in a cool place for 6-10 hours.
8. Prepare the jelly. Fill each color separately with half the amount of water indicated on the package.
9. When the jelly has hardened, assemble the cake. Put the sponge cake in the split ring and tighten it.
10. Pour water over the gelatin and bring the cream to a boil, removing from heat right away. Stir the gelatin until it is dissolved.
11. Whip the sour cream with sugar. Pour the cream into the mixture.
12. Cut the colored jelly into cubes, add to the sour cream mixture, mix quickly, and pour over the sponge cake.
13. Put in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.
