Panna cotta is a very exquisite holiday dessert that you don't even have to bake as it is based on ordinary jelly. For the New Year holidays, milk and tangerines will be a perfect combo. The dish will turn out very light and delicate.

The idea of making a delicious tangerine panna cotta was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria with the nickname viktoria cooking. Everything is as simple as possible.

Ingredients (for 4 molds of 200 ml each):

  • 33-36 % cream - 250 ml
  • milk - 150 ml
  • sugar - 70 g
  • vanilla sugar - 10-12 g
  • gelatin - 7 g
  • water - 35 g
  • orange jelly - 1 sachet + boiling water - 300 ml
  • tangerines - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Pour cold water over gelatin, mix and leave to swell for 10 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, combine cream, milk, and sugar in a saucepan and cook over low heat (do not boil).

3. When it starts to steam, turn off the heat, add gelatin and stir until it is dissolved.

4. Cool to room temperature, pour into molds and leave in the refrigerator until hardened.

5. Meanwhile, prepare the orange jelly according to the instructions on the sachet and leave to cool completely (you can do this in advance).

6. When the creamy layer has hardened, pour half of the orange jelly over it and leave it in the refrigerator again to set.

7. Then top with tangerine slices, pour the other half of the jelly over and leave in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours (preferably overnight) until completely hardened.
