Most housewives are already thinking about the list of dishes they will prepare for the New Year's table. They should be different from everyday ones not only in appearance but also in taste to create a truly festive atmosphere. Various pastries are the most popular at this time of year.

Joseph Clarke, a well-known gardening expert and founder of JoesGarden, shared an ingenious life hack on his Instagram page. It turns out that he never throws away orange peel because it can perfectly supplement the desserts.

According to Clarke, citrus fruits become very popular in the winter season. And not only because they look festive and have a distinct flavor but also because they are the most delicious in winter. The expert recommends making a wonderful seasoning from orange or even tangerine peel, which will reveal the taste of baked goods in a completely new way.

To prepare this seasoning, dehydrat the orange peel. This can be done in a dehydrator or in a conventional oven. Then grind the peels to a powder and store them in a sealed glass jar out of sunlight.

This seasoning can be used in any kind of sweet pastries. In addition, it is also great for giving meat or fish a unique flavor and aroma. Moreover, it looks beautiful, so it can serve as a great decoration for any other dish.
