The day before, on June 28, Russian troops hit a high-rise building in Dnipro, destroying several floors in one of the entrances. The search and rescue operation at the site of the hit lasted all night, and as of 8 a.m. on June 29, one person was reported dead and 12 wounded.

At the same time, five people are still missing. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that search and rescue operations in the high-rise building damaged by a missile strike by Russian troops were ongoing: people were being searched for under the rubble throughout the night.

"As of this morning, we know about one dead person and 12 wounded. Among the injured are a baby and a pregnant woman. Two people have been rescued... The fire has been extinguished. 190 tons of construction waste have been removed," the statement said.

An apartment building in the regional center was hit by the invaders after 6 p.m. the day before.  An enemy missile destroyed apartments from the 8th to the 11th floors. The Interior Ministry also reported that 11 cars were damaged.

At the same time, the list of victims may not be final: the fate of five people is still unknown, they are considered missing. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, cited the police as saying.

The night before, forensic experts took materials from the relatives of the missing for DNA examinations. In particular, they can help identify the body of the victim found under the rubble the day before.

In addition to Dnipro, Russia also shelled Kherson. A woman and a man were injured as a result of the attack by Russian war criminals.

On the night of June 29, Russia attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. In total, the enemy launched 10 Shahed drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The air defense forces shot down all targets.
