Delicious homemade bagels that everyone can make: step-by-step recipe
One of my favorite types of pastries from childhood is bagels. Of course, the best bagels are those prepared by the caring hands of a loved one, not those bought in a store.
Food blogger Yuliia Ocheretian shared on Instagram how to make homemade bagels so that every member of the family can enjoy them. The dough is tender and light, and you can use the filling to your liking.
Ingredients for 32 pieces
- Sour cream 20% – 200 gr
- Sugar – 40 gr
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g
- Salt – ¼ tsp
- Butter – 100 g
- Baking powder – 2 tsp.
- Flour – 300 gr + 50 gr
Ingredients for the filling
- Apple or plum jam
Method of preparation.
1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough in a deep bowl and knead the dough.
2. Roll out the dough and cut out small triangles.
3. Put the filling on the wide edge of the triangle and form a bagel.
4. Place the bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until golden brown.
5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
