Delicious broccoli pie: an unusual recipe with a healthy vegetable
Broccoli is an extremely tasty and healthy vegetable full of vitamins and nutrients. It also has a very beautiful appearance and can decorate any dish, including baked goods.
Food blogger Kateryna Brailo shared how to make broccoli pie on Instagram. The recipe is quite unusual but easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- Broccoli – 300 gr.
- Flour – 180 gr.
- Baking powder – 1 tsp.
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Milk – 250 ml.
- Oil – 50 ml.
- Mozzarella – 120 gr.
- Greens
- Hard cheese – 50 gr.
- Favorite spices
- Garlic
- Sesame seeds
Method of preparation
1. Disassemble broccoli into florets and boil in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then transfer to cold water. Put on a paper towel to absorb excess liquid.
2. Combine flour, milk, eggs, and olive oil in a deep bowl and mix thoroughly until smooth.
3. Add herbs, spices, mozzarella, broccoli and mix again.
4. Pour the broccoli mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle grated hard cheese on top.
5. Place the mold in a preheated oven to 180 degrees and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
6. Let cool slightly and serve with Greek yogurt/sour cream.
