Co-owner of the "Privat" group Oleksiy Martynov intends to sue Bogoliubov, - interview
One of the three key shareholders of the financial and industrial group "Privat," Oleksiy Martynov, is leaving the partnership and plans to sue Gennadiy Bogoliubov.
About it in an interview with Focus told the co-founder of the group "Privat" Alexey Martynov.
Martynov revealed that since 2008, he stepped back from managing the ferroalloy sector by agreement with his partners, but remained an equal co-founder. During his stay at the group’s office in Dnipro from January to March 2024, Bogoliubov did not find time to meet, which caused additional tension. "I was shocked to learn that he decided to sell part of the assets without any agreement with me," Martynov noted.
In light of these events, in May 2024, Martynov informed Bogoliubov of his intention to leave the partnership. In response, he received a comment that Martynov interpreted as a withdrawal from the partnership: "I would also gladly do that. There's nothing left to exit from." However, a month later, on June 20, Bogoliubov unexpectedly claimed that he did not recall any such partnership.
Currently, Oleksiy Martynov is preparing documents for a legal process, intending to defend his rights through legal means. He emphasizes that he never transferred his share in the business and will protect his interests in court.
