Christmas doughnuts with garlic: how to make fluffy dough so that it rises immediately
Pampukhs are the second most important dish after kutia, and they are a must-have on the table during Christmas. This type of pastry symbolizes a carefree life and is indescribably delicious. Pampukhs can be made with either sweet or garlic filling.
Food blogger Eduard Nasyrov shared his recipe on Instagram. Cooking according to his recipe, you will be delighted with Christmas donuts.
Ingredients:
- Flour - 600 gr
- Milk - 400 ml
- Yeast - 25 g
- Sugar - 30 gr
- Oil - 50 ml
- Egg - 1 pc
- Salt - a pinch
Additional ingredients:
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Dill - a bunch
- Butter - 100 gr
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead the dough.
2. Cover with a towel and set aside in a warm place for 1 hour.
3. Roll out the dough into circles. Leave them to rise for 30 minutes.
4. If desired, you can add sweet filling to the donuts and fry them. Or you can make them salty.
5. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown and place on a paper towel.
6. Chop the dill and garlic. Sprinkle them over the doughnuts and pour melted butter over them. Mix thoroughly and serve.
