But it's always worth trying something new and experiment. For example, food blogger Maria Makarchuk shared how to make halusky with chicken and mushroom gravy on Instagram. It turns out to be extremely tasty.

- spices to taste
Ingredients for the gravy
- mushrooms - 200 g
- onions - 2 pcs
- oil - 100 ml
- sour cream or cream - 200 ml

Method of preparation
1. Boil the chicken until tender.
2. Fry the mushrooms and onions in a pan with oil. Add salt and spices to taste. Divide into 2 parts.
3. Add cream to one part and simmer.
4. Pass the boiled chicken and the roast through a meat grinder. Add the water in which the chicken was cooked so that the filling does not get dry.
5. Add baking soda, eggs and warm kefir to flour. Knead a soft dough so that it does not stick to your hands. Leave it for 10 minutes.
6. Stuff the dumplings with the filling and steam for 7 minutes.
7. Serve with the mushroom gravy.
