The new car market in Ukraine is showing a slight increase in sales with cautious optimism. In October, a new statistical figure was recorded, a figure that is particularly interesting against the backdrop of a drop in September.
As always, low-cost cars dominate the market. And the most famous cheapest model has once again become the leader. In October 2024, according to statistics from Ukravtoprom, the new car market amounted to 5.8 thousand units.
The market grew by 2% compared to the previous month. There was a 1% increase compared to October 2023.
The most popular cars in Ukraine:
- Renault (775 pcs.);
- Toyota (679 units);
- Skoda (402 units);
- BMW (397 units);
- Volkswagen (363 units).
The leaders are well-known manufacturers of affordable models. Cheap cars dominate the ranking. As always, they are in high demand among our customers. But BMW stands out among the top five in the ranking. It is the only company among the leaders that offers quite expensive premium cars.
The market leader is the budget crossover Renault Duster. The French automaker sold 749 copies of such cars among a total number of 775 units in October.
