Ingredients:
- chicken hearts - 800-900 g
- boiled eggs (hard-boiled) - 4 pcs
- mozzarella - 100 g
- pickled red onion - 1 pc
- greens (dill, parsley) - 30 g
- mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
Marinade for onions:
- salt - 1 tsp.
- sugar - 1 tsp
- vinegar (table) - 1 tbsp
- hot water - 80 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the red onion into thin half rings. In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the marinade. Pour it over the onions, stir and leave for 30 minutes.
2. Rinse the chicken hearts thoroughly and remove excess fat and blood vessels. Boil in salted water for 20-25 minutes and then let cool. Cut the hearts in half or into pieces.
3. Peel and dice the boiled eggs. Chop the mozzarella or grate it on a coarse grater. Finely chop the herbs.
4. In a large bowl, combine the chopped hearts, eggs, pickled onions (drain before adding), mozzarella, and herbs.
5. Add 2-3 tbsp of mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix all ingredients to preserve the texture of the salad.
6. Put the salad on a serving plate or in small serving bowls.
7. Garnish with fresh herbs.
