Budget chicken gizzard goulash for dinner: how to make the dish unrivaled
Goulash is a very quick and hearty lunch dish. It can be served with any side dish to make it juicy. In addition, you ca use something else instead of chicken or pork fillets. Even gizzards can make a delicious goulash.
Food blogger Myroslava Pekariuk shared how to make delicious chicken gizzard goulash on Instagram. Be sure to add the right amount of vegetables and spices.
Ingredients:
- chicken stomachs - 750 g
- carrots - 1 pc
- onion - 1 pc
- tomato paste - 80 g
- red bell pepper - 1 pc
- garlic - 3 cloves
- salt, pepper, sweet paprika, cumin, bay leaf
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the chicken gizzards well, cut into 2-3 pieces, cover with cold water and simmer for 40 minutes.
2. After that, remove the gizzards. Do not pour out the broth in which they were cooked.
3. Chop the onion, carrot and garlic.
4. Fry them until half cooked.
5. Then add paprika, black pepper, cumin, salt, and gizzards, and mix well.
6. Dilute the tomato paste with the meat broth in a separate container and pour over the gizzards.
7. Add bay leaf and simmer for 15 minutes.
8. Chop the bell peppers, add to the goulash and simmer until the meat is tender and soft.
