Budget and healthy cake without flour: how to replace the usual ingredient
To make the cake not only tasty but also healthy, it should be made without flour. You can replace the ingredient with an ordinary banana. The mass will hold its shape perfectly and bake quickly.
The idea of making a healthy cake without flour was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria Korolivska (korolivska1). It is delicious to add raspberry jam as a filling.
Ingredients:
- banana - 2 pcs. (about 200 g)
- eggs - 1 pc.
- oatmeal (can be ground) - 40 g (4 tbsp)
- cocoa powder (dark) - 30-40 g (3-4 tbsp)
- apple (grated) - 1 pc (100 g)
- yogurt (without sugar) - 1 tbsp (about 20 g)
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
Ingredients for the cheese layer:
- cottage cheese - 350 g
- cream cheese - 100 g
- milk - 50 ml
- egg - 1 pc.
- sweetener - 1 tbsp (or to taste)
- raspberry jam - 2-3 tbsp (optional)
Method of preparation:
1. Mash the bananas with a fork until mashed.
2. Add the egg and mix.
3. Pour in the oatmeal, ground in a coffee grinder, cocoa, grated apple, yogurt and baking powder, mix well.
4. Put the chocolate dough into the baking dish.
5. For the cheese layer, beat the cottage cheese, cream cheese, milk, egg and sweetener in a blender until smooth.
6. Spread the curd mass on top of the chocolate dough, add raspberry jam if desired.
7. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
8. If necessary, cover the mold with foil to avoid a strong crust.
