Bright spinach roll with salmon: how to prepare a very beautiful appetizer for the table
When celebrating the New Year, you should think about a variety of appetizers. The fact is that these dishes not only have an interesting combination of flavors, but also look good, so they serve as an additional decoration for the table.
Food blogger Valeria Veligura shared a recipe for one of her favorite appetizers on Instagram. It was a spinach roll with salmon.
Ingredients
- Spinach - 150 gr
- Eggs - 3 pcs
- Salt - a pinch
- Flour - 50 gr
- Cream cheese - 175 gr
- Lightly salted salmon - 200 g
Method of preparation
1. Pour boiling water over the spinach and drain it in a minute. Let it cool down.
2. Add the egg yolks and blend until smooth.
3. Add the sifted flour and mix.
4. Beat the whites with salt with a mixer until peaks and add to the dough in 3 stages (gently mixing with a spatula from the bottom up).
5. Pour onto a rectangular baking sheet with parchment (28 cm*20 cm) and bake in a preheated 180 g oven for 10 minutes.
6. After cooling, cover with a layer of cream cheese and a layer of salmon.
7. Tightly wrap the roll, wrap it in cling film, and put it in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
