Better than usual chops: how to prepare a hearty meat casserole with potatoes
If you have some pork in the freezer, make a simple and hearty casserole. It will be much better than regular chops. No need to stand around and fry each piece for a long time - just put everything in a baking dish and bake.
The idea of cooking a hearty meat casserole instead of chops was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeria with the nickname valeria pytel. Add plenty of cheese on top.
Ingredients:
- meat (neck or steak) - 500 g
- potatoes (medium) - 7 pcs
- onions - 3 pcs
- salt, pepper - to taste
- mayonnaise - 200 g
- hard cheese - 250-300 g
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the meat into pieces and pound on both sides.
2. Grate the potatoes into slices.
3. Brush the parchment with a little oil and put the potatoes on top, seasoning well with salt and pepper.
4. The next layer is onion cut into half rings.
5. Then add the meat. Salt and pepper again.
6. Spread with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for about 40-50 minutes.
