Baked pepper appetizer with cream cheese: the perfect fall dish
Red bell peppers have the highest nutrient content compared to green and yellow bell peppers. It can also be eaten raw and baked, used in salads, sauces, and appetizers.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious appetizer of baked sweet red peppers with cheese and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 3 red or yellow peppers
- 175 g of cream cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- herbs (optional)
- sesame seeds
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the peppers, remove the middle, and cut into 4 pieces.
2. Bake in the oven at 180C until soft.
3. Put the hot peppers in a bag or bowl and cover with foil. After 15-20 minutes, peel off the skin.
4. For the filling: mix the cottage cheese with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs (optional). Put the filling on each piece of pepper and roll it up.
Garnish with herbs and sesame seeds.
