Air Force spokesman said drones were circling, waiting for another group to attack Kyiv simultaneously
On the night of November 25, the terrorist country of Russia attacked Ukraine, including the capital, with a record number of Shahed-type attack drones. For some time, groups of UAVs were simply circling the country in order to accumulate them and strike at Kyiv simultaneously.
Yurii Ihnat, a spokesman for the Air Force, said this during the TV marathon. This attack on the city was one of the most massive.
According to him, drones flew at Kyiv from two directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar Territory, and Kursk Region. From the latter location, the drones immediately flew to Kyiv, while those from the southeast tried to "wait" for other groups.
"Thus, they were circling, waiting for a simultaneous attack on the capital," Ihnat said.
As a reminder, after the enemy attack on Kyiv on November 25, residential buildings and institutions were left without electricity. Problems with power supply due to the enemy attack were also recorded in the Kyiv region.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the morning of November 25, when Ukraine commemorates the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-33, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with Iranian kamikaze drones from several directions. Air defense was working in the capital.
