A simple yet delicious shortcrust pie: step-by-step recipe
When the whole family gathers for tea, it is important to treat them to a delicious and easy-to-prepare dessert. In this case, a shortbread pie with jam is perfect.
It is simple to prepare and will definitely appeal to everyone. The recipe for this pie was shared on Instagram by food blogger Anna Fil.
Ingredients for a 20x26cm baking dish
- Flour – 350 gr
- Salt – a pinch
- Baking powder – 1 tsp.
- Butter – 100 gr
- Sugar – 125 gr
- Vanilla sugar – 1 packet
- Eggs – 1 pc
- Jam for the filling
Method of preparation
1. Add salt and baking powder to the flour. Mix well.
2. Add the cold butter. Cut everything together with a knife.
3. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg. Grind into crumbs again.
4. Pour most of the crumbs into a baking dish covered with parchment.
5. Spread the filling and add the second part of the crumbs.
6. Place in a preheated 180° oven for 35-40 minutes.
7. Leave the finished cake in the mold until it cools completely.
8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
