A drunken British citizen was detained in Ternopil for breaking a police station window and damaging a city lamp
Ternopil law enforcement officers detained a British resident for committing hooliganism. While intoxicated, the man broke a window in the police station and smashed a lamppost in the city center.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Ternopil region.
On the night of January 29-30, a 31-year-old British citizen, while intoxicated, came to the Ternopil District Police Department. During the identification process, the man broke a window in the office. For this, an administrative report was drawn up against him for disorderly conduct and he was released.
But after a while, a police patrol discovered that a lamppost had been damaged in the city center, near a department store. After reviewing the CCTV footage, the police found out that the hooliganism had been committed by the same British man.
The man was found and detained. A decision was made to bring him to administrative responsibility under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - disorderly conduct.
