Frozen bread will preserve its freshness longer

Bread is one of the staple foods, so it's important to ensure you always have it available at home. Freshly baked bread tastes the best.

A breadbox is not an ideal solution for preventing staleness, and dough in a plastic bag can quickly become moldy. It is said that bread can even be frozen, which is one of the best ways to preserve its freshness. Read more in the OBOZREVATEL article.

Frozen bread will retain its pleasant texture and flavor for a longer time. For freezing, it's usually best to choose recently baked but not warm bread. It is recommended to buy it from bakeries or supermarkets with their own bakery. Packaged toast and bagged loaves are not recommended for freezing.

Bread stays fresher longer when stored at low temperatures. However, do not put an entire loaf in the freezer. It is best to slice the bread into portions and wrap each portion in cling film.

Before eating, warm the bread in the oven or let it reach room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
