Volkswagen has officially revealed a new low-cost car for the family

The new next-generation Volkswagen Passat is preparing for a very imminent premiere. The manufacturer showed the new low-cost family car in a photo before the premiere.

VW Passat hinted at the data of the premiere on the official X account of the automaker, formerly called Twitter. There is not long to wait.

The new generation of the famous model will be presented only in a station wagon body. The car will become more spacious and much more practical, which will appeal to large families. The sedan will no longer be offered in this lineup.

VW Passat 2024 will be equipped with a standard 12.9-inch multimedia system screen or an optional 15-inch screen, a projection display for the driver and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Buyers are expected to have gasoline and diesel engines as part of mild hybrid powertrains. More conventional hybrid and even plug-in hybrid variants will also be included. The electric range will approach 120 kilometers in the top variant.

The official premiere of the Volkswagen Passat 2024 will take place on August 31. Serial cars will appear on the roads at the beginning of next year.
