Ukrainian welterweight boxer Danylo Zamorylo was forced to hide the yellow and blue flag he wore to the award ceremony in Kaunas. The 21-year-old from Lviv region defeated Kazakhstan's Sultan Mussinov at the 27th Algirdas Šocikas International Class A Boxing Tournament, which took place in Lithuania the day before.
The pupil of the specialised children's and youth Olympic reserve school No. 2 controlled the fight throughout all three rounds and deservedly defeated his opponent by the judges' decision.

Zamorylo came to the ceremony with the flag of Ukraine on his shoulders. However, a few seconds later, a representative of the organisers approached him and asked him to remove the flag, which the boxer did, luckypunch.net reports.
It should be noted that another Ukrainian, Oleksandr Khyzhnyak, defeated Kazakhstan's Zhanibek Kartbayev in the final of the 80 kg weight category at this tournament.
