"To Catch the Kaidash".

Playwright and screenwriter Natalia Vorozhbit so successfully adapted the story of Ivan Nechuy-Levitsky "Kaidash's family" to modern times, that only on YouTube series watched by 32 million people. The main storylines of the project are related to the "eternal" problem of confrontation between two generations of one family: parents and children. In the modern version several new events were added, but this did not spoil the overall impression of the story.

"Borsch. Secret Ingredient".

In the documentary film by Chef Eugene Klopotenko, the cook himself goes on a journey across Ukraine to learn the most interesting recipes for borscht and to find the secret ingredients for his favorite delicacy. He will tell us that in our homeland borsch is cooked according to 16 recipes, and how each of them differs, depending on the region.

"My Thoughts Are Silent"

The film by young director Antonio Lukic premiered on July 4, 2019. The road movie tells the story of a sound engineer, Vadim, who has a chance to start his life from scratch. He needs to record the voices of Transcarpathian animals and find a rare bird. But everything is not so simple, he will be accompanied by his mother. This eternal story of fathers and children left few people indifferent.

"Rhino"

The Ukrainian feature film directed by Oleg Sentsov, released from a Yakutsk camp, was filmed in 2021. The film tells the story of the "rise and fall" of the brutal bandit with the nickname "Rhino". This role, by the way, was played by Mariupol defender Sergei Filimonov. The film perfectly conveys the depressive atmosphere of the 1990s.

"The Guide"

One of the most notable Ukrainian films was released on the big screens on July 16, 2014. It tells the story of the journey across Ukraine in the thirties of the twentieth century of a blind kobzar and a boy, the son of an American expat. Their "expedition," full of dangerous adventures, takes place against the backdrop of dramatic pages of Ukrainian history and the destruction of human lives.
