According to preliminary reports, four people died and two more were injured. This was reported by Russian media.

"There was an explosion at the Tambov powder plant. According to preliminary reports, four people were killed. The explosion occurred in shop No. 3 at about 2 p.m. After the explosion there was a fire, which was quickly extinguished. The explosion killed 4 people, 2 more were injured," reads the report.
