Kremlin chief "worried about attempts to provoke Russia's response"

Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the drone attack on Moscow. According to him, the Russian air defence system worked "normally and satisfactorily", although "there is still work to be done".

The Kremlin leader also said that he was "concerned about attempts to provoke a response from Russia". "Apparently, this is what they are counting on. They are provoking us to mirror actions. Let's see what to do about it," the dictator threatened.

According to Putin, Ukrainians allegedly have "no say in their country" because "total terror" has been unleashed against them.

But they "still need to know what the current leadership of this country is pushing for".

"No matter what Moscow says, the guilty will be sought in Russia, but we are not the ones using the means used by Ukrainian businessmen," Putin said.

Following the aggressor country's defence ministry, he reiterated that a few days ago, Russia allegedly struck a "decision-making centre" in Ukraine, and that the arrival of the UAV in Moscow was a response to this strike.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- On the morning of May 30, Moscow was attacked by drones for the first time. The Russian Ministry of Defence traditionally blamed Ukraine. The media wrote that 25 to 30 UAVs were flying towards the capital, and air defence systems were operating.

- Satellite communications were jammed in the Russian capital, and soldiers with anti-drone guns were seen on the streets checking passers-by. A special plan "Typhoon" was announced in the Moscow region.

- The Office of the President of Ukraine said that Kyiv was not directly involved in the attack and joked that perhaps Russian drones did not want to destroy peaceful Ukrainian cities, so they were "returning to their creators".

- The Ukrainian Armed Forces explained the drone attack on Moscow as a result of internal problems in Russia.

- The day before the attack, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov recorded an appeal to the Russians. He said that the response to the strikes on Kyiv "will not be long in coming". In this regard, the Kremlin said that the launch of drones on Moscow was "Kyiv's response".

- Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov threw a tantrum over Russians who were happy about the strikes on Rublevka in Moscow, where the Russian elite live. He called on them to remember the "one nation".
