Consequences of a night-time drone attack on Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region on Tuesday night, May 30, five people were injured by shrapnel as a result of downed Russian drones. A total of more than 50 reports of property damage were filed with law enforcement today.

This was reported in his Telegram channel by the head of the police of the Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov. Residents of the region urged not to ignore reports of danger.

"We already have over 50 reports from citizens of damage to homes, apartments, office space, stores, garages and cars. Unfortunately, we have 4 victims of shrapnel wounds. The police record every crime of the army of russia, for which there will certainly be accountability. And as always, we are proud of our air defense units!" reported Nebytov.

 
 
 
 
 

The police general specified that as of this morning there was damage to 17 residential properties, including citizens' apartments.

"In one of the apartment complexes, the attack left people with shrapnel wounds, head injuries, and contusions. The vast majority of the damage in the houses were broken walls, windows, doors, and furniture. In one area, grass decking caught fire as a result of falling shrapnel. The fire was promptly localized and extinguished," Nebytov added.

 
 
 

As noted by the Kyiv regional military administration, unfortunately, five people were injured as a result of the falling debris, two of whom were hospitalized. The others refused to be hospitalized. All of the injured were given medical assistance.

 

Recall that on the night of May 29, Russia attacked Kyiv with cruise missiles and drones. Then air defense forces destroyed more than 40 aerial targets, with falling debris causing some damage.

On Monday afternoon, the aggressor country attacked the Ukrainian capital for the second time in a 24-hour period with Iskander missiles. Their debris fell on the road and the roof of the building, and a fire broke out.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the defenders of the Ukrainian sky on the night of May 30 repelled the third massive Russian air attack on Kyiv in the last 24 hours and the 17th since the beginning of the month. More than 20 Shahed-type kamikaze drones were neutralized in the region.
