A southern cyclone is moving into Ukraine. It will bring significant cooling and precipitation.

Weather forecaster Natalia Didenko reported on it on her Facebook.

The cold snap will come to Kyiv on March 28.

"Since tomorrow the weather is warm everywhere in Ukraine, and the only weather disturbance is rain in the western regions, I will remind you again about the sharp change in the weather next week!" she said.

On March 27 in the west and March 28 in the east, the weather will remain warm.

However, a significant cold snap is expected in most regions of Ukraine on March 28-29. Thus, the air temperature will drop to +2...+5 in most regions on March 28-29, and to "minuses" at night.

"An active southern cyclone from the Mediterranean with atmospheric fronts is planning to arrive in Ukraine in the next few days. As we know, a cyclone means precipitation and strong winds. Don't let the name "southern" confuse you!" said Natalia Didenko.

As for the next few days, on March 25, it will rain in the western regions of Ukraine, with precipitation likely to affect Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. The rest of the country will have dry weather.

In Kyiv on Saturday, March 25, there is a chance of light rain, but in the evening. During the day on March 25, it will be mostly dry and warm, up to +17 degrees. A sharp change in weather is expected in the capital on March 28, with a significant cold snap and sleet starting on Tuesday.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, according to the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the European Center for Medium-Range Forecasts, the spring in Ukraine would be warm. The average air temperature may be 1-2 degrees higher than in previous years.
