Occupants in Crimea show place where UAV allegedly crashed

The Russian occupiers in Crimea showed a place near Simferopol where a "downed" drone allegedly crashed. However, it is unknown where the drone itself disappeared.

According to the so-called head of the Simferopol district Denis Kratyuk, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and law enforcement officers are working at the site, Telegram channels reported. At the same time, the photos published by the Russians show large pieces of concrete and metal that do not look like UAV parts at all (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the news).

For his part, the adviser to the 'head' of Crimea, Oleg Kryuchkov, noted that "electronic warfare has worked" and that a similar situation had allegedly already occurred several weeks ago. At the same time, he called on local residents to be responsible in disseminating information and on Telegram channel administrators not to chase hype. Kryuchkov stressed that many people post photos and videos, despite the fact that they show houses and a clear location.

"Hype, hype, hype. Only all the administrators of Telegram channels should understand that the enemy is using these videos to adjust its strikes," the "official" said.

To recap: On March 29, explosions were heard in Hvardiiske near Simferopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea, and thick smoke was seen in the area of the airfield. The occupiers said they had "shot down a Ukrainian drone".

Gauleiter of the occupied Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said that "a UAV was shot down in the Simferopol district, it fell into a field, there were no casualties or damage". To confirm his words, he showed a field with a loosened plot of land.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- On March 20, Russia reported an attempt to blow up a gas pipeline in the temporarily occupied Simferopol. An explosion allegedly occurred at a gas hub in the centre of the capital of the occupied Crimea as a result of unknown explosives;

- On March 17, an explosion was reported in the village of Perevalne near Simferopol. The 126th Separate Guards Coastal Defence Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is stationed there.
