Diplomats from the United States, the United Kingdom, Albania and Malta demonstratively left an informal meeting of the UN Security Council when the Russian children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova was speaking. They did not want to sit at the same table as an official who is on the international wanted list for stealing Ukrainian children.

In this way, they also protested against the disinformation spread by Moscow. According to the Telegram channel "We Can Explain", "toxic" Russian diplomats have become outcasts on international platforms (to watch the video, scroll down to the end).

In addition, the channel's video shows other striking demarches and examples of how Russian diplomats are subjected to boycotts and ridicule.

In September 2022, Lavrov, speaking at the UN Security Council on Ukraine, called President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "son of a b***h". In response, Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, called Moscow's logic "moronic" and called Russia's First Deputy Permanent Representative Dmitry Polyansky "one of the most disgusting people the UN has ever seen".

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- 45 OSCE member states initiated an investigation into the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russia. It is about deportation from the occupied territories of Ukraine.

- In April 2023, Russia took over the presidency of the UN Security Council. Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya rejected criticism of Russia and criticised the United States, recalling that it held the presidency in 2003, during the invasion of Iraq.

- Zelenskyy said that Russia should not participate in the UN Security Council. The reason for this is the war in Ukraine, in particular, the incessant shelling.

- In his first speech at the UN Security Council, Nebenzya announced talks with the US. He said that Russia would be ready to organise a meeting between Lavrov and Blinken at the UN if the US wanted to.
