Russia threatens not to show Eurovision

Russia has threatened to block resources that will broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 if they contain LGBT propaganda. Citing the law, Roskomnadzor effectively doomed Russians to not watching Europe's biggest song contest this year, as the contest often features singers with homosexual or bisexual orientations.

As you know, the Russian Federation officially bans the promotion of non-traditional sexual relations in the media and on the Internet. The department's comment was reported by Russian media. On the occasion of this news, OBOZREVATEL decided to show the most prominent gay or lesbian participants of this year's show, who are apparently not going to be shown in Russia (to see photos and videos, scroll to the bottom of the page).

Gustaph - Belgium

Singer Gustaph will represent Belgium at the song contest this year. According to information on the Internet, the artist belongs to the LGBT community and his images only emphasise this.

Gustaph has long concealed his orientation, but he has often been seen in the company of gay men. For example, the singer wrote lyrics for Hercules & Love Affair, a very well-known LGBT group. He will be performing at the Eurovision Song Contest with the track Because Of You.

Alessandra Mele - Norway

The vibrant contestant from Norway is not shy about admitting that she is physically attracted to women. That's exactly what she will be singing about on stage in Liverpool.

In an interview with Eurovision Fun, Mele revealed that she is bisexual and her song Queen of Kings reflects the experience of a bisexual woman.

Luke Black - Serbia

The Serbian representative has openly admitted that he is gay. Because of this, the artist has even faced a lot of heckling, foreign media reported. He will come to the UK with the song Samo Mi Se Spava. The image for the performer was created very eloquently.

Earlier OBOZREVATEL wrote that Swedish singer Loreen, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, will return to the international vocal arena in Liverpool. Her repeat success is expected by bookmakers.
