On Saturday, May 13, Russia lost five aircraft - two military aircraft and three helicopters - in the Bryansk Region. Russian air defense was involved in the crashes.

This was reported by the speaker of the Air Force Yuri Ignat in the air of the all-Ukrainian TV marathon on May 14. He noted that the Russian Federation has already admitted its involvement in the destruction of aircraft - there declared a "black day of aviation."

"The strike group carried out an attack on Ukraine from the north, the Bryansk region. They do it every day. Carried out strikes with guided air bombs. We are already talking about the third helicopter there, so five in total, probably ran into some trouble," noted Ignat.

He added that "there is even already an analysis of who is to blame," the occupiers are going to fire and punish those responsible for "this mess."
