The Russian army lost more than 10 thousand pieces of equipment

The Russian army has lost more than 10,000 pieces of equipment during the full-scale war. In particular, the invaders lost 2/3 of the tanks and almost half of the armoured personnel carriers with which they launched their invasion of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by data from the Oryx project. Thus, during the 414 days of the war, 10,014 pieces of Russian military equipment were destroyed, damaged or captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As the project notes, the losses may actually be about 20% higher, as only enemy equipment that has been confirmed by photos or video has been taken into account.

The Russians lost the most tanks in the war - 1908 units, as well as infantry fighting vehicles - 2288 units. In particular, the losses amounted to 65% of the total number of tanks and 44% of the number of infantry fighting vehicles that the Russian army had before the invasion in February 2022, not including the equipment in enemy storage.

For example, in March 2023, Ukrainian Forbes estimated the total value of the equipment lost by Russia in the war with Ukraine at $25 billion. If this amount is converted into Russian currency, it is 2 trillion rubles, which is 7% of all federal budget expenditures in 2023.

As previously reported, Russian kafirs have increasingly begun to self-injure themselves in order to avoid going into battle. In particular, the occupiers often shoot themselves in the legs to avoid fighting, and suicides have also become more frequent.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, a significant part of the losses of the Russian occupation army in Ukraine are caused by non-combat-related causes. The Russian invaders in Ukraine also often caused incidents, crimes and deaths related to excessive alcohol consumption.
