Which plants can be kept in the shade

Owners try to choose a suitable place in the house for indoor plants to provide them with favorable conditions for growth and development. One of the most important factors for this is sunlight, which is necessary for the plant to bloom.

But OBOZ.UA has compiled a list of flowerpots that can be kept in rooms with little light. This will not affect their development.

Sansevieria

This plant adapts best to low light and does not require special care. You can place the sansevieria in shade or partial shade and water it only when the soil starts to dry.

Fern

Ferns should not be placed in direct sunlight because it will harm their growth. It is better to place it in partial shade and this will be the best place for the plant to grow and develop.

Arrowroot

This plant is not adapted to bright sunlight. A place with little to no daylight is best for its development. You shouldn't water the flowerpot often either; moisten the soil once every 7-14 days to avoid root rot and fungal diseases.

Palm trees

Palm trees are low-maintenance, highly decorative plants that can decorate your interior for decades. The main thing is to choose a suitable place for the flowerpot. Give preference to partial shade, because palm trees need bright sunlight from time to time.
